Now here is a beautiful wine. Pure seductive Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva from San Polo. It’s still on the early side but packed with intense dark red fruits, cherry pie, cocoa and a silky mouth that goes on for minutes. In a few more years this will be outstanding. Geeky wine of the week is this lovely 1999 Jean Bourdy Cotes du Jura made from 100% Poulsard grape in the northern Jura region. Blind, we thought it could be Rhone as the nose is very sweet but the palette was much more fine and delicate. It’s a very pretty wine with lovely sweet and gamey aromas. #ginsbergchan #jeanbourdy #jura #winegeeks ... See MoreSee Less
